Valentines, like New Year's Eve has built in expectations. New Year's you should have the time of your life and Valentines you need to come up with an appropriate gift (or in my case a date). If you have someone to buy for keep in mind the gift should never be as grand as a birthday present, unless you plan to be engaged on that day.  It also does not matter if you spend $10 or $500, you just need to put a little thought behind the present.
