Tim Burton Tribute, Mary-Kate & Anna

As we mentioned the other day, last night was the Museum Of Modern Art Film Benefit: A Tribute To Tim Burton. The Olsen dames and Anna Wintour were present. We are in LOVE with Mary-Kate's shoes, just wished she would stop hiding under large handbags and yards of fabric. Ms. Wintour, well, she always looks spectacular.

Tim Burton Rocks MoMA Museum

November is all about Tim Burton. Starting tomorrow, the MoMA Museum kicks off their retrospective on Burton's career with a film benefit and after party followed by a gallery exhibition and film series that opens for museum members on the 18th and non members the 22nd. Expect to find highlights from a number of unrealized projects, never-before-seen pieces, as well as student art, and his earliest non-professional films.  

Johnny Depp To Play Michael Jackson?

 

The day Michael Jackson died, a friend of mine joked that Johnny Depp and Jamie Fox will end up playing the King of Pop in a flick about his life.  I am convinced now my friend has ESP.

Showbiz Spy just reported that Johnny Depp and Jamie Foxx are rumoured to have been lined up to play Michael Jackson in a film based on the singer's life. Out of all the biopic ideas Hollywood is currently cooking up about the late star, we believe this is the version that will seal the deal with the Jackson family. Now if only Tim Burton could be added to the mix as director to tell this story as a spectacular pop-gothic fairytale. I think Michael Jackson would have liked that.
