Carlos Falchi For Target

This is a gentle reminder that on November 1st Carlos Falchi's handbag collection for Tar-jay will hit stores and online.  Falchi is known for his flamboyant use of textures and exotic skins dyed in vibrant colors so it is no surprise to us that he started his career as a costume designer for Elvis Presley and Mick Jagger. His capsule collection for the discount retailer will be a tad toned down but will feature his iconic collage techniques and python-inspired solid prints. Best of all, if you could never afford a Falchi bag before, now you can get one for under 50 bucks. Rock on.

Jean Paul Gaultier And Target

French chic on the cheap? Yes, the rumor that has been swirling around since September is coming true, Jean Paul Gaultier is really coming to Tar-jay this spring. The theme for the collection will be, "The American Woman" and unlike Anna Sui's line that was available in 600 stores, Target is narrowing down distrubution to 250 stores. Perhaps the collection will be a tad more expensive compared to other Tar-jay offerings and be hopefully very Gaultier. Fingers are crossed.  Expect the line to hit stores on March 7th.

Cheap Thrills, Anna Sheffield

If I didn't love "cheap thrills" (AKA, fashion deals) I wouldn't be working for ideeli. Finally, Anna Sheffield's jewelry line for Tar-jay is online.  Right now we are craving these precious little bird earrings, but we also LOVE her "Trophy and Bolt" necklace.  Thanks to Target's budget prices- we can afford both.  Shop now before it all disappears.

We have received conflicting information on when Anna Sheffield's line for Tar-jay will actually hit stores and online.  According to Pop Sugar's daily newsletter, the collection was going to debut this morning. Other sites report August 30th and August 31st. Whatever the date, we can't wait!  ideeli and myself are huge fans of Anna's Bing Bang collection and we can't wait to see what she whipped up for the discount retailer.  We are hoping to find a selection of flirty and edgy pieces that include charms and multi chain necklaces. One fact we can confirm, the line is priced under $80.

Target Goes Hollywood (Intuition)

Jaye Hersh has brought a touch of Hollywood to Tar-jay. The celebrity style expert and the owner of the Hollywood boutique Intuition, has created a fashion forward handbag and accessory line called HollywoodIntuition for the mega retailer. Unlike most designer collections sold at Target, HollywoodIntuition will be available online and in stores until Spring 2010.
