Shoetopia Twitter Giveaways

Now that Shoetopia is well under way (see our full lowdown on shoe madness here), we’re adding in another layer of fabulosity. From Monday through Thursday of this week, one lucky winner will score our daily It Shoe on Twitter (@ideeli). And on Flash Friday, we triple the bounty so that three fortunate followers will each win a pair of It Shoes.

To get you prepped and ready to go, we’re giving you the time to tune in each day: 2pm ET. Each giveaway will only last for 1 hour, so you’ll need to act fast to get in the game. We'll tweet out an announcement when the giveaway begins, along with the contest question. And then...we're off! We might ask you to re-tweet (RT) a phrase, do a scavenger hunt on our site, or answer a trivia question—anything goes. To enter the giveaway, followers must tweet us their entries with the hash tag #shoetopia. We'll randomly pick one ideeli follower who has answered the contest question correctly to win.

Introducing Shoetopia!

Here at ideeli, we’ve always been shoe fanatics. From wedges to gladiators to espadrilles to platforms, our adoration for fabulous footwear knows no bounds (just thinking about the closet space devoted to our heels alone is exhausting). Our shoe love has now become a full-blown obsession, thanks to Shoetopia, a 6-day celebration of all things footwear, featuring multiple shoe sales each day—with some of our most-loved brands—and culminating in a giant Sandal Mania sale on Friday.

The fun doesn’t stop there—as part of Shoetopia we’ll be featuring one “It Shoe” each day— showcasing an extra-special summer-perfect find, at extra-privileged prices.

On Facebook, the shoe madness continues with the launch of our brand new shoe tab. Check out features including Toe-to-Toe, where you can vote for your favorite shoe in a heated footwear battle; Shoe Candy, where our editorial team gives you the low down on what’s hot—and what’s not; and Shoes on ideeli, a handy tool for scoping out all of our shoe sales in one place.

Flash Friday: Betsey Johnson

Here at ideeli, we live by the mantra “surprise and delight”—especially when it comes to our members. We also, as our Mavens know, love giveaways. So it's in that spontaneous, swag-loving spirit, that we created our Flash Friday giveaways on Twitter. Each Friday we surprise our Twitter followers with a Flash Friday giveaway at any given time between 9am and 6pm ET. The giveaway lasts for a period of only 1-2 hours—hence the term “flash”—so it's important that you follow our feed (@ideeli) closely to get the start notice. We'll tweet out an announcement when the giveaway begins, along with the contest question. And then...we're off! We could ask you to re-tweet (RT) a phrase, do a scavenger hunt on our site, or answer a trivia question—anything goes. The cartwheels, the irrepressible prints, the classic downtown-chic: We can go on and on counting the ways we adore Betsey Johnson. And, once we got a peek at her Impress II satin sandal (which is also available in tomorrow's Betsey Johnson sale on our site)...well, there was really just no way we could keep it from featuring it in our very first Flash Friday shoe giveaway.

Pick of the Day: Steve Madden

Click your heels together and say it twice: There's no place like our Steve Madden sale. As you can tell, we've fallen for the slight Wizard of Oz-ish feel of these Madden P-Miami pumps.
