Designer Rides: Chanel & James Perse

Normally luxury signifies excellent craftsmanship, superior design, and refinement. But the new luxe Segway by Chanel (above) is as out there as bottle service.   This designer ride is actually a standard Segway decked out with Chanel detailing (including a detachable Chanel purse). Eco friendly? Sure.  Overkill? Perhaps.

Made for the beach but can also serve double duty on city streets, the single speed bike is a little clunky like the Segway, but it ranks higher in style.
