Announcing the Best in Shop Contest Winners!!

Some people spend their summer at the beach, or lounging by the pool, but we put our tan on hold and spent ours partnering with the inspirational author and small business champion Tory Johnson. Together with Tory, we launched a series of sales on ideeli called Tory’s Shop featuring some of our favorite woman-run brands, and the Best in Shop contest, a summer-long hunt for inspirational women small-business entrepreneurs (or entrepre-HERS as we like to call them) from around the US.

After narrowing the Best in Shop finalists down to the Top 20, we asked you to vote and pick the final three and we're excited to share the winners that will be featured in a special fall edition of Tory’s Shop. So, let us introduce you to (in no particular order) the winners of the inaugural Best in Shop contest!

Demoiselle Lauren Hastings of Demoiselle Designer Lauren Hastings creates elegant jewelry—including custom pieces for brides and bridal parties—handcrafted with love outside of Boston.

Tomboy Tools Janet Rickstrew and Mary Tatum of Tomboy Tools Co-founded by Janet Rickstrew and Mary Tatum, Tomboy Tools provides hands-on education and high-quality, ergonomic tools designed especially for women.

Agapantha Dani Paquin of Agapantha Musician-turned-designer Dani Paquin creates whimsical handmade semi-precious and repurposed vintage jewelry, including one-of-a-kind pieces and fine jewelry.

Join us in congratulating these fearless female business leaders, and from jewels to tools, be ready to shop these innovative and impressive companies when they’re featured on ideeli later this fall!
