Where do you find inspiration for your designs?
I take inspiration from museums throughout the world. Schatzkammer in Munich, Green Vaults in Dresden, Hermitage in St. Petersburg, The Met in New York City, etc. There is also inspiration to be found in nature and in my staff of great designers.

Who do you consider the most timeless style icons?
Diana Vreeland, Babe Paley, Nan Kempner, the Duchess of Windsor, Jackie O.—and fortunately for me, all were my friends.

What do you love about working with Swarovski crystals?
I love Swarovski crystals because I have no choice - they are simply the best!

What do you think is the perfect holiday gift?
Golden Imperial Beluga Caviar from the Caspian Sea. It’s perfect for girls and boys!

Do you have any tips for flawless style at holiday parties?
Sleep late and avoid heavy holiday lunch parties to always look naturally and effortlessly fresh.
