I don’t believe New York Fashion Week, which starts tomorrow, will be remembered as the year we all down sized (canceled after parties, no town cars, and what no goody bag?). It will be remembered as the year when designers came up with new and creative ways to promote themselves. Our favorite so far, Halston’s Fall 2009 presentation, which is all digital and stars Dree Hemingway (yes her great grand pop wrote, "For Whom the Bell Tolls"). The video will be emailed to a select group of editors, retailers, and fans on February 13th.
