Breaking News: Bye Bye Domino

Bummer news, Domino magazine, a crowd favorite here at ideeli is folding. The March 2009 issue will be their last.  Conde Nast staffers were informed this morning about the shuttering.

In a press release, Conde Nast CEO Chuck Townsend said, "This decision to cease publication of the magazine and its website is driven entirely by the economy. Although readership and advertising response was encouraging in the early years, we have concluded that this economic market will not support our business expectations."

Fingers crossed that the rumors swirling around the impending demise of Details magazine is completely false. Not sure what we would do without our monthly Augusten Burroughs fix.
