By French Law, the new vintage Beaujolais Nouveau is always released on the third Thursday of November - just in time for Thanksgiving dinner for us Yankees. Unlike most wines, Beaujolais Nouveau is drunk young - within 12 months of bottling. This year, 2009, is supposed to be one of the finest years for the vin primeur. In anticipation of the wine's official release date, Franck Deboeuf, of Gearges Deboeuf Winery decided to celebrate the release of his nouveau in New York City. In case you are wondering... Paris Hilton, looked like a sugary sweet confection at the launch party for her new hair styling tools at The Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills last night. No word yet on where her hair gear will be sold. Sister Nikki, in sharp contrast to Paris looked fab choosing to limit candy pink to her nails.
As we mentioned the other day, last night was the Museum Of Modern Art Film Benefit: A Tribute To Tim Burton. The Olsen dames and Anna Wintour were present. We are in LOVE with Mary-Kate's shoes, just wished she would stop hiding under large handbags and yards of fabric. Ms. Wintour, well, she always looks spectacular.
