Christian Siriano is back at Payless with his latest collection of holiday ready shoes and handbags. Despite the fact Payless shoes tend to run pretty wide (why Payless, why??), we found selects shoes from his first collection stylish and comfy. A shocking yet nice surprise since we paid less than $30 buck for a pair of durable yet cute flats.

 

Project Runway alumni Christian Siriano is now adding author to his list of growing accomplishments. Siriano, the most successful winner to date from the former Bravo show, released his first book,  'Fierce Style: How To Be Your Most Fabulous Self', earlier this week.  Tim Gunn, penned the foreword for the pint sized fashion dynamo. Christian Siriano is making sure thrifty women can wear his shoes with his line for Payless,  but he may not have had the masses in mind with the collection he showed this past Saturday during New York Fashion Week. Is the line beautiful? Yes. Do I see myself wearing anything? Perhaps not but I could see The First Lady in one of his dresses. Siriano is definitely going after a very refined customer- think ladies who lunch, or do battle in the boardroom, who are searching for a fresh twist on classic dressing. We think Victoria Beckham would approve.
