From denim leggings, to denim dresses and shorts, the closet staple is a must no matter what time of year it is. But this spring, we have trend that's absolutely meant to be paired with the true blue classic: Porcelain Prints. Inspired by Chinese porcelain and pottery, the crisp blue and white pattern (which can appear as floral, landscape or paisley-esque) is quickly becoming the hottest fashion temptation, and for good reason. Not only does it look great when dressed both up and down, it also offers a light, airy and beautiful look—perfect for the upcoming warm weather months!
From sunup to sundown, some of our favorite ways to pair denim and porcelain together:
In the spring, you can never go wrong with a chic shift dress. But when it's designed with mirrored porcelain prints, it's even more of a must-have. On those chilly spring days, pair with a dark rinse denim jacket to keep you warm and finish off the look with metallic or nude flats or heels.
Who says you can't look indispensably chic while running around town? Not us! Start off with white denim shorts and throw on a light blue denim top with fringe (to edge it up a little). Then pair with a porcelain printed jacket & sandals—and you're good to go.
For A Night Out
Opt for white porcelain printed shorts, and a blue short sleeve flowy blouse. Then, step into a pair of nude wedges or high heels. (Don't forget to bring along the denim jacket just in case the temperature goes down!)
